On a daily basis usually hundreds of people enter and leave hotels. They might not necessarily
be resident guests, but might be attending meetings or functions, having a meal or
patronizing the bar. How would one notice a suspicious person who is wandering around your
hotel?

In the case of an emergency, the manager on duty (MOD) or the security Manager will be the
first staff member to be contacted by the switchboard to which the emergency will first be
reported by a member of staff or guest. Explain the role of the MOD.
