Question 1 (100 marks)
Read the scenario below and answer the questions that follow.
A local political leader pressurises a TVETcentre manager to admit his son who obtained 10 points in
Grade 12. The centre manager suddenly changes the admission requirements and admits the local
politician's son. Despite lowering the admission criteria, the centre manager refuses to admit children
from neighbouring villages with 25 points and above. The TVETmanager complains that parents are
unrealistic to expect him to admit all the children from neighbouring communities. The centre manager
indicates that the available spaces are reserved only for deserving children.
1. In your own words identify and explain five possible unethical issues that might arise from the
