The National Planning Commission of Namibia is managing multiple multibillion dollar
projects under different bilateral and multilateral agreements between the Namibian
Government and other Governments. At the recent stakeholder consultations of updating
the National Development Plan 6, stakeholders raised concerns about the non-alignment of
the reporting and status quo update tools and techniques of these projects being
implemented under different Organizations Ministries and Agencies (OMAs). Further stating
that this results in ineffective and inefficiencies within the organisations.
2.1 As an expert on Project Management. Clearly elaborate what a Project Management
Office (PMO) is and elaborate on the importance of PMOs.
