2.0 The torrential rainfall in opuwo district of Kunene region has caused massive flooding
in villages causing the displacement of 2,000 people. The crops and livestock have been
submerged and destroyed by the floods. The floods have also destroyed latrines, boreholes,
and springs rendering accessto clean and safe water impossible. The displaced people have
been settled in a camp on high ground, which is 2 kilometers from Opuwo town. The rapid
nutrition assessment conducted found that the prevalence of moderate acute malnutrition
in children underfive years was 13%. There is also widespread food insecurity as people lost
most of their livelihood. Use the case study to answer the following questions.
