after the transaction, Jane noticed that she was struggling financially. She thought of ways of cutting
costs and one of them was, to return the radio to Yusufu. Refer to the appropriate section of the Credit
Agreement Act, Act 75 of 1980 and advice Jane on her rights as a credit receiver in terms of the said Act.

house was destroyed by fire.

Manda and Mandy share a flat they rent from Peter in Windhoek in terms of a lease agreement they
concluded with Peter. Manda opened an account at ABCfurniture where she bought a T.V and fridge for
the flat in terms of the credit agreement 75 of 1980 .Mandy opened an account in her name at DEF
furniture where she bought a lounge suite for the flat. After a few month of renting the flat they are
unable to pay rent and are three months in arrears.
Discuss Peter's rights and remedies, if any, if he wishes to recover the arrear rental.

and died as a result of his wounds a few weeks later.

9.2 Roger was a driver in the employment of Lighting Couriers CC. While performing his duties, he
stopped at a filling station for fuel, lit his pipe, which caused a fire in which a pump attendant was
injured. Lighting Couriers CC is successfully held liable by the pump attendant. The manager of
Lightning Couriers questioned Roger, the latter admitted guilt and was dismissed without a
disciplinary hearing. When Roger objected to his dismissal because of the absence of a hearing,
the manager argued that a hearing would have made no difference since he already admitted
guilt.
Is Roger's dismissal a fair or an unfair dismissal? Discuss.

Mr. Handy enters into a contract with Boniface. In terms of the contract, Mr. Handy is responsible to build
a patio and entertaining area for Boniface where he wants to entertain his friends. They agree that
Boniface will pay him the sum of N$ 25 000 for the work that he has to conduct. The contract is signed
on the ist of April 2021.
10.1 Identify the type of contract entered into by the parties

10.2 Mr. Handy informed Boniface that he could only start working once Boniface has provided him
with the necessary tools and equipment for the work. Advise Boniface of his legal position in
respect of Mr. Handy's request.
