and pressure on local water resources. You are tasked with evaluating these impacts and
proposing mitigation measures.
a. Identify and describe three major environmental impacts of the hotel development. (15

b. Suggest mitigation measures for each of the impacts identified. (15 marks)
c. The hotel is expected to consume 200,000 litres of water per year. If the local water supply
is already at its limit, propose a sustainable water management plan for the hotel. (10
