With reference to your society, answer the following questions:

development of sociology. As a sociologist, identify and analyse how those factors have
influenced and are still influencing your society, and suggest ways to improve the condition
of your society.

According to Namibia's Population and Housing Census Report of 2023, more than 50% of
the Namibian population resides in urban areas, with l<homasand Erongo regions almost
urbanised. With reference to a town or towns in your region, discuss the causes and
challenges of urbanisation in Namibia. Additionally, suggest measures to address these

Socialisation is a process used to describe the way an individual learns the values, norms
and expectations of the society. Socialisation happens at different phasesand agents which
have varying influences on an individual's socialisation. With reference to your own
socialisation, differentiate between the phasesof socialisation and discusswhich agents are
under which phase. Additionally, indicate which phase and agents have more influence on
developing your personality and why.
